Egnatia MSS (Motorists Service Stations) is a GPS-based application informing about the service stations in Egnatia highway from Igoumenitsa to Alexandroupoli. During the trip, there are three kind of stations: Pit Stops, Sleep Units and Trip Pauses, that serve different needs. Especially in "Trip Pauses", carpool meeting points and car hire agencies for carpool vehicles are available. Trip Pauses intend to make the car pool very simple and easy to use at any time for all the people (irrespective of whether a person has a car or not !) with maximum amount of trust and should result in reduced car print per day in the city (in effect less fuel usage and less vehicle sales and less environmental damage!).

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Stations appearing in the application do not exist! They are suggestions proposed from Eleni Boni and Rania Totsika in the context of their college degree thesis.
